We stayed here when Callaway Gardens double booked and they had no room for us even agree after a reservation and a phone call to confirm. The Gardens Inn and Suites was able to accommodate us at the last minute. Rooms are good size and clean. Outside entrances are always a star reduction for me and that is what they have.
My girlfriend and I took trip to pine mountain for the weekend. We initially intended to visit our preferred attractions in one day, but with the sun setting earlier we decided to stay the night and finish the rest of our trip the next day. The staff was friendly and informative. The facility seemed well kept but being the germ freak I am, I never visit any hotel without Lysol spray and wipes for the remote and all handles/ nobs/switches. AC worked great, slight problem with the hot water being consistent and at the right temperature. All in all not a horrible stay.
The front desk woman was down right mean. She told the family that was checking in ahead of us to keep their children quiet in the lobby as her child was sleeping behind the desk and she didn't want them to wake it up. I asked for a TV remote as our room did not have one. She told me to go back and look in the room again as it was supposed to be there. I did and did not find it. She told me to come back later because she was busy cooking dinner for her family. Whatever she was cooking had a heavy garlic smell that had the lobby smelling terrible. Had there been any motels left with a room, we would have left. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE !!!
Our family was here visiting from Fl. The location to the gardens is very convieant. However, we received some pleasant customer service and some rude service. The hotel its self appears outdated. Pretty clean for the most part could be better. BUGS, BUGS, BUGS! I get it, there will be the occasional bug. But there was definitely an infestation with German cockroaches. The cleaning staff was present every morning and super nice and friendly. The outside appearance does not match what's on Google. It's unfortunate that this hotel couldn't be managed better as it would have a lot of business. Would not recommend. :(
Not great not bad . Beds were comfortable and clean. Room was clean if a little dated and functional. Everything worked great and the water was hot . Room service did come around a bit early for sleeping in but were very polite.
