Location is beautiful. Just got married here this weekend. 10/10 would recommend for weddings.
The chalets are reasonably spacious and quite comfortable, in serene settings around an attractive little lake. Ours was well-appointed with all the amenities and necessities except the food you wish to bring. Plus there is an affordable restaurant very nearby and the resort features mini-golf and other recreational facilities for guests. The location is easy to find from major roads and serves as an excellent base for exploring the many attractions of the area.
Pine Mountain Chalet Resort= PRICELESS
My experience with Pine Mountain was unfortunately very poor. While the facilities were quite lovely and the staff good we had an experience that actually showed the true colors of the people who manage Pine Mountain. We were looking for our cabin/room and coming out of an unmarked driveway I drove a bit too far to the left off the road and hit a water pipe in the road. It resulted in damage to the car. The hotel not only refused to help in any way with the costs they actually tried to deny that they had anything to do with the property- claiming they were managers not owners. I was disappointed and surprised at their lack of caring and ownership and immediate response of no responsibility.
This was by far the best experience I have had with a vacation home. This place has friendly and professional service that brings a whole new meaning to SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY. The chalets are great and have everything you need for your stay. They have fishing, canoes, walking trails, golf, swimming pool, basketball and not far from the chalet (5 mins) is a huge field for blueberry picking. I love this place and will be going back to visit my new friend Julie...
Hopefully they have put better markers on that particular driveway
My husband and I stayed there for our anniversary. We had a great time. Planning to stay there again very soon..
