Waste of money. Horrible customer service. Go to another light show that's better run and cares more for their customers that Callaway Gardens cattle prod way of doing things.
We have been multiple times in the past but must admit very disappointed this year. There seemed to be less lights, and way too much dead space in between the scenes...... nothing magical about it bc the kids get bored. Way too expensive ! I used to believe the price was worth it many years ago, but this year, I was not impressed. Plus most of the stuff at the village was closed, there was nothing for the kids to do,unless I paid more money! So disappointing as we have enjoyed Fantasy in lights years past. This will be our last trip
I have called 3 times to book reservations in accordance with the method I purchased tickets for the Fantasy in Lights. The first time, I was on hold for 20 minutes and never got in touch with anyone, the second time, they said that they were resetting their system and to call back in 20 minutes. I called back 30 minutes after that call and I am still on hold after 20 minutes without talking to anyone who can help me. Finally got it scheduled and I got the email confirmation and it is scheduled for the incorrect date. Going to have to call them again.
We have been waiting for an hour to drive through this Fantasy of Lights thing. They line all the cars up and then tell you they have to wait for all the trolleys to go through. There's 20 trolleys. We called the main line and their excuse is that even though our reservation is for 6:30pm to drive through, they are allotted and hour to get us to START driving through. Basically, the lady on the phone just told us that our reservation time was useless and that we needed to just sit and wait. Yeah... what fabulous (NOT) customer service....
Love this place! It's more than just the lights, the Christmas Village is amazing and Santa is there, plus there are places to sit by the lake, fire with stuff to make smores and a spot where snow shoots out. This will be our 3rd year going and I can't wait!!!
My 84 yr old grandparents are fit to be tied. My fiancé has to be at work at 6am, which is why we booked the earliest drive through possible. Obviously, that didn't mean anything and was useless planning on our part.
We were there last night, hadn't been in about 10 years so we were really excited... What a big disappointment! First of all the lights are a 3 mile drive back in the woods traveling at a snails pace before seeing the first light....I remembered lots of trees beautifully wrapped in lights, didn't see the first one, just colored flood lights shinning up in the trees. There was one Christmas theme at the very end everything else was flowers, and butterflies ans snowflakes stretched out ...Nothing was impressive like it once was. With a little modification this could be kept up year round...and I won't even get started on the price to get in and the high prices .....I won't ever go back! !It cost us 126.00 to see this!!
